Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice
• Perform the Nursing Process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Deliver care tailored to patient population (age, gender, condition)
• Partner with patients and families for coordinated care
• Teamwork & Collaboration
• Coordinate and document safe, high-quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary communication (rounds, case reviews)
• Support recruitment and retention of healthcare team members
• Promote a respectful and inclusive clinical environment
• Professional Development
• Complete required ongoing education and competency assessments
• Serve as preceptor/mentor for nurses, staff, and students
• Engage in shared governance and performance improvement initiatives
• Evidence-Based Practice & Research
• Promote and participate in nursing research, evidence-based practice, and performance improvement
• Adhere to policies, clinical competencies, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in data collection and use resources to address clinical questions
• Resource & Care Management
• Proactively plan patient care across the care continuum
• Participate in developing protocols and procedures
• Support efficient use of human and material resources
• Aim to reduce readmissions, avoidable days, and adverse events
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Uphold all client policies, safety standards, and patient-care ethics

Key Requirements: -

• Key Skills; Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to use technology to support clinical care (basic computer skills)
• Excellent time management
• Ability to respond to emergencies in a calm and decisive manner
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Ability to provide population-specific and culturally competent care
• Strong communication skills (read, write, speak English fluently)
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to client care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
